Sarah Hagler
Overview
Here’s how Sarah Hagler describes her approach to work and life: “I’m immersed in it every day.” It’s just how she is. From the time she started at UNC Greensboro to well past graduation, Sarah worked in a variety of roles that required constant interaction with people. No office jobs, just always surrounded by people, always working for and with them.
An early job was one that would test even the most people-oriented of people, working (almost every position possible) in a popular coffee house. While many say they love working with people, surviving and flourishing in a busy coffee house day after day proves it. She was part of her customers’ daily lives—especially the bleary-eyed, pre-caffeinated crowd who needed a little extra patience (and a lot of espresso) every morning while telling her, well, everything. Little did she know that would be excellent practice for her role today!
After gaining experience in customer service, Sarah found her passion for social work, particularly in helping at-risk children. She interned in Foster Care & CPS during college, and then went on to work in Case Management for at-risk children after graduation. In both roles, Sarah learned how to navigate emotionally charged situations with empathy and patience. She’s always been committed to understanding and connecting with people during their most difficult moments.
Now, as the first line of contact at Triangle Smart Divorce, Sarah uses those same people skills every day. She loves guiding clients through tough situations and helping them find the right path forward. Her background in social work has helped her approach family law with the same care, listening, and understanding that she used when working with children and families in need.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys exploring the Triangle, working out (Pilates, yoga, and anything else that gets her moving), and spending time with her Tuxedo cat, Mr. Reginald. The ‘Mr.’ is non-negotiable.
In an office full of passionate (that’s the politest way of expressing it) sports fans, Sarah stands out in her disinterest in sports in general. She’ll watch a game or two while rooting for the team with the “nicer uniforms.” That’s something for the rest of the office to debate as well.
