Stephanie Rosario is one of those people who brings a little more energy into a room when she walks into it. 

Which is particularly useful when the room happens to be a family law office. 

Stephanie has spent almost a decade working in family law, helping Clients and attorneys navigate everything from pleadings and agreements to discovery, financial documents, trial preparation, and the countless deadlines and details that keep a case moving forward. She supports multiple TSD attorneys and has developed a reputation around the office for being organized, capable, and remarkably cheerful while doing it. 

That warmth is not separate from the way Stephanie approaches her work. It is a big part of it. 

Stephanie has volunteered as a translator for domestic violence victims in pro bono cases, helping people understand the legal process while advocating for their rights. She is also a certified mediator. Both experiences reflect something Stephanie believes strongly: people going through difficult situations deserve to understand what is happening and to feel like someone is actually listening to them. 

Stephanie also took a career detour into event coordination and project management, handling corporate events, private functions, and weddings. 

There she survived the three primary varieties of “-zilla”: bride, groom, and in-law. 

Eventually, Stephanie realized that the skills she brought to event planning were also the skills she loved bringing to family law: organization, problem-solving, patience, and the ability to keep a lot of moving pieces headed in the same direction. She returned to the legal world and, fortunately for us, eventually found her way to Triangle Smart Divorce. 

And boy, do those event-planning skills still come in handy. Family law has plenty of competing priorities, deadlines, documents, personalities, and last-minute developments. Stephanie is very good at keeping all of them organized without losing sight of the person at the center of the case. 

Outside the office, Stephanie’s creative side takes over. She paints in acrylic and watercolor and dreams of someday owning a flower farm. She also loves traveling and spending time with her family in Puerto Rico. 

At home, she has 2 dogs, one cat, and Ruby, her jumping spider. 

Yes, a jumping spider. 

Ruby has somehow managed to win over at least part of the TSD office, where the general consensus is that, for a spider, she is surprisingly cute. This may be one of Stephanie’s more impressive acts of persuasion. 

Stephanie is also a Penn State graduate and loyal Penn State fan. This is particularly good news for Lauren O’Malley, who finally has some backup in an office full of North Carolina college loyalties. Whether the rest of the Team considers two Penn State fans an alliance or the beginning of an uprising remains to be seen. 

Whether she is helping a Client understand what comes next, keeping multiple cases on track, jumping in to help an attorney, or somehow convincing her coworkers to appreciate a spider, Stephanie brings the same things with her: competence, kindness, and a whole lot of positive energy.
