Jasmine Peele-Garcia
Overview
Jasmine Peele-Garcia first joined Triangle Smart Divorce as a Summer Law Clerk while attending North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she serves as a Staff Editor for the Law Review. Fortunately for us, summer wasn’t the end of the story. Jasmine is continuing to work with the TSD Team throughout her 3L year, with plans to join the firm as an attorney after graduation.
Jasmine has developed a strong interest in family law, particularly child welfare work and helping families through difficult situations. Before law school, she earned her degree in Family and Community Services from East Carolina University and spent several years working directly with clients in the legal field. Managing cases, supporting attorneys, and helping hundreds of clients confirmed what she already suspected: she wanted a career where the work she did could make a real difference in people’s lives.
Although she was born in Kansas, Jasmine considers North Carolina home. When she’s not balancing law school and her work at TSD, you’ll likely find her spending time with friends and family, trying a new restaurant, or planning her next trip. And when she actually manages to sit still, she’s probably unwinding with a true crime or legal drama series. Strictly for research purposes, of course.
